Welcome to the biggest set of updates yet! Between versions 4.9 and 5.2.0, RomM has received a complete visual makeover and powerful new ways to play and share your favorite retro games. Here are the highlights.
The RomM interface has been completely redesigned from the ground up! It features a fresh, modern design that is smoother, faster, and more responsive. Whether you are using a mouse, keyboard, touchscreen, or a gamepad, navigating your game library has never felt more natural.
You can now stream heavier 3D games (like GameCube, PS2, and Xbox) straight to your browser! Instead of forcing your device to run the emulation, the heavy lifting is handled securely by your home server. The picture, sound, and controller inputs are streamed seamlessly to your screen.
Want to show off a 100% completed game file or race a friend? You can now easily share your game saves and "savestates" with other users on your server.
We've made managing your collection much easier. A brand-new Settings page lets you adjust how games are scanned without dealing with messy configuration files. Plus, finding cover art and manuals is now much simpler with new search filters, language priorities, and autofocusing search bars.
Bring the 90s back into your living room! You can now turn on CRT Mode to give your games that classic, scanline tube-TV look.
Also, game boxes on the details page are now interactive—you can spin the 3D Boxart around to view the front, spine, and back just like you used to in the video rental store.
Relive your favorite gaming memories! If a game has a soundtrack folder, you can now listen to its music directly from the game's details page using the brand-new built-in music player.
Enjoy your newly updated RomM experience!
